Candles are a good way to help focus energy; they enhance the mood of any experience. Although candles can set a mood the appeal of a burning candle goes well beyond that. The beauty of a flame fascinates and touches humans on a primal level.

Candle burning is one of the simplest of magickal arts that is categorized as natural magic. Blowing out the candles making a wish with birthday cakes is a good example of this. This childhood custom is based on three magical principals: concentration, will power, and visualization. In simple terms, the child who wants his wish to come true has to concentrate (blow out the candles), visualize the end result (make a wish) and hope that it will come true (will power).

Candle Kits - $15.00/kit

Candle kits consist of a 4" candle, mini incense bag and 1 gemstone specific to the purose desired.
Candles are anointed with oils corresponding to each individual purpose.
Burn the incense by putting 1/4 teaspoon of incense into the center of a lit charcoal disc, and enjoy the fragrance. Add incense in small quantities as needed.

The Rose Cauldron suggests you follow our simple tips for everyday candle safety, use and care.

Never leave a burning candle of any kind unattended.
Keep candles out of the reach of children.
Glass and ceramic candle containers have the potential to crack if overheated. Never burn longer than four hours and allow complete cooling time between relights.
Keep lit candles out of drafts. Drafts create large flames, not only shortening the burning time but contributing to the potential for a fire hazard as well.
Candle wicks should be trimmed to a 1/4" from wax for longer burning time.
Burn no longer than four hours at a time.
Always keep a fire extinguisher handy.
